Oversight Agency for EMS in Genesee County
The GCMCA is the oversight agency for the EMS system in Genesee County, and established for this purpose by the State of Michigan under MCLA 333.20918 of the Public Health Code. The GCMCA is administered by Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center, McLaren Regional Medical Center and the Genesee County Board of Commissioners. Working in concert with local EMS providers and other system participants, we strive to provide our community with the best possible high quality pre-hospital care, by writing protocols (rules) that EMS agencies and providers are to follow and monitoring the quality of care that they provide.

Fri: 8:00am - 4:00pm
This is a two person office, so meetings, illnesses, and vacations may result in the office not being open during these times. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

NOTE: The office is staffed by one full-time and one part-time person. As meetings and other commitments out of the office occur the office may not have an individual physically present, so please call in advance to confirm someone is available to assist you personally at the office.
