Who We Are: The GCMCA is the agency responsible for the oversight of the EMS system in Genesee County, and established by the State of Michigan for this purpose under MCLA 333.20918. The GCMCA is administered by Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center, McLaren Regional Medical Center and the Genesee County Board of Commissioners. Working in concert with local EMS providers and other system participants, we strive to provide our community with best possible high quality pre-hospital care, by writing the protocols (rules) that EMS providers are to follow and monitoring the care that they provide. |
