The GCMCA is the oversight for the EMS system in Genesee County, and established for this purpose by the State of Michigan under MCLA 333.20918 of the Public Health Code. The GCMCA is administered by Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center, McLaren Regional Medical Center and the Genesee County Board of Commissioners. Working in concert with local EMS providers and other system participants, we strive to provide our community with best possible high quality pre-hospital care, by writing the protocols (rules) that EMS agencies and providers are to follow and monitoring the quality of care that they provide. |
Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is a two person office, so meetings, illnesses, and vacations may result in the office not being open during these times.
